De North Side Big Band begeleidde al 3 keer Toots Thielemans, de laatste keer op vraag van Toots zelf ! We traden ook al op met Will Tura , Yannick Bovy , Sofie , Roel Vanderstukken , Pieter Embrechts , Eline De Munck , Pieter Douglas (Mr Frank Sinatra Nederland) , Raf Van Brussel , Gene Summer , Sofie Dee , Swa Vandenbroeck , Zina , Sonia Pelgrims , Roberto enz….. Bij de echt grote evenementen wordt de band symfonisch uitgebreid met strijkersgroep (violins, alti, celli, contrabas) houtblazers (clarinets, flutes, hobo) tot een orkest van zo’n 50 muzikanten (North Side Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra). Heel wat grotere organisatoren vinden de weg naar ons orkest. Zo speelden we in 2009 , 2011 , 2013 en 2015 in het overvol openlucht theater “Rivierenhof”  te Deurne.

The North-Side Bigband already accompanied three times Toots Thielemans, the last time on his demand. We had already an act with Will Tura, Yannick Bovy, Sofie, Roel Vanderstukken, Pieter Embrechts, Eline De Munck, Pieter Douglas (Mr Frank Sinatra Nederland), Raf Van Brussel, Gene Summer, Sofie Dee, Swa Vandenbroeck, Zina, Sonia Pelgrims, Roberto and so on. For the really big events the band is expanded with string-players (violins, alti, celli, double-basses) and players of a wind instrument (clarinets, flutes, oboes) to an orchestra of about fifty musicians (called the North Side Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra). Many big organizers already discovered our orchestra. 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015 for example we played in an overcrowded Rivierenhof in Deurne.
